Shame, Director Kelly Lynn Warren.
Drama, United States, 4:52 FILMMAKERS IN PERSON!

When a woman is sexually assaulted by a mutual friend the night before, her confrontation with her best friend leads to tragic consequences. Sexual assault and suicide are not common topics spoken in households. When we try to speak up, we often get asked wrong questions like: "What were you thinking going out looking like that? We told you not to go out late. Why did you do that?
There's nothing wrong with you. Why are you complaining? Life's hard – so what? We are making a short film that will bring to light the shame we feel and show the sudden and abrupt nature of suicide when trauma is not dealt with.

Calling Andy, Director Alex Lang.

Three middle-aged friends smoke a magic drug that lets them speak with their dead friend, Andy, who has something to say to each of them.
Picture

Sensus, Director Leandro Sosa.
Drama, Spain, 9:03 (eng subs)

In a dystopian universe, a special agent interrogates a prisoner, until he discovers that reality changes depending on who perceives it.

Masking, Director Helena Victoria, Experimental, United States, 2:32 FILMMAKERS IN PERSON!

"Masking" follows the journey of Lola, a successful fashion model who seems to have it all: beauty, fame, and a thriving career. However, beneath her glamourous exterior lies a struggle with anxiety and depression that she has kept hidden from the world.
As Lola completes her photoshoot, her inner turmoil intensifies, manifesting in self-doubt and mental breakdown. Her inner world is expressed through emotional expressive dance movements.
Throughout the experimental silent short film, Lola confronts her innermost fears, grappling with feelings of inadequacy, and the constant scrutiny of the fashion industry. In the end, Lola peels back the layers of her facade, revealing her vulnerability and humanity with a sense of hope she will claim her identity and self-worth.

Guiding Light, Director India Anne Mitchell
Student Documentary, United States, 5:00

Through the compelling interviews of the lead prosecutor, the defense attorney and the police chief, “Guiding Light” tells the story of a young teen (Polly Hannah Klaas) in a small town in America who was kidnapped from her bedroom during a slumber party while her family was in the house. In "Guiding Light", India Mitchell, a teen growing up in the same town thirty years later brings a fresh perspective and highlights the importance of the legacy of this case to the continuing endeavor to keep children safe.

orange, Director 何 文韬
Drama, China, 4:58 (eng subs)

A middle-aged man who has been struggling in the workplace for many years, talks with himself in the past with a surreal dream method, while taking the "Glass is clear, Oranges are brilliant" in the North Island "Holiday" as the core, and taking glass orange as the object image, changing the mentality of the protagonist in different states.

CHXRL - LOVE ME, Director Michael Robertson
Music Video
, South Africa, 3:15

Titled "Love Me", the song draws from CHXRL’s narration of a classic tale of unrequited love and the duality that comes with growing more in love with someone by the day, while they simultaneously grow more bored. The song deals with the unfortunate heartache of falling in love with someone, but sadly finding the love to be unrequited.
With every strum of the guitar, you can feel the excitement for a new relationship building and building, just to be shot down as the lyrics say, like a ‘little mouse to a bird of prey.

Trail Mix, Director Glenn Robert Sweitzer
Documentary
, USA, 49:55

Trail Mix follows a 2,000-mile journey from Georgia to Maine, uncovering the personal struggles and healing of hikers seeking solace, purpose, and transformation. Directed by Glenn Sweitzer, the film reveals how nature becomes a powerful path back to wholeness.
